CAPS-UAW Passes Counter Package on Economic Items

Last Friday, June 14, 2024, we, your CAPS-UAW Bargaining Committee:

  • Presented a counter proposal package, including sections:
    • 2.1 – Salaries
    • NEW 2.13 – One-Time Retention Payment
    • NEW 2.18 – Geographical Pay Differential
    • NEW 2.19 – Longevity Pay Differential
    • 5.1 – Health, Dental, Vision
    • This package maintains a pathway to pay equity for all classifications and retains the core concepts and structure from the last package we passed on June 6. We continue to advocate for appropriate and logical salary relationships for classifications within our unit.
  • Presented a counter on NEW 3.25 – Employee Donated Release Time Bank

We are meeting with the State next Tuesday, June 25. The State indicated they will respond to our counter proposal package and 3.25  Employee Donated Release Time Bank proposal then.

See all of the proposals we’ve passed on outstanding sections here.
